An Egyptian enters Guinness by riding a bike for 24 hours straight… What is the distance he has covered?

The Egyptian adventurer, Ali Abdo, succeeded in setting a new record in the Guinness Book of Records, in support of protecting the environment through the use of clean energy.

According to the “Al-Ahram Gate” website, Abdo traveled 920 kilometers by electric bike over a period of 24 continuous hours in the new city of El Alamein.
The Egyptian adventurer explained that he made the long journey inside a closed road in the city, 8 kilometers long, over the course of 113 times.

Abdo stated that all the procedures and preparations that were implemented in order to set the record in the Enis Encyclopedia as the largest distance driving an electric bike came under the auspices of the Ministries of Environment, Youth and Sports and the “Be Prepared for Green” campaign.

He pointed out that the goal is to raise awareness of the importance of using clean energy through the use of environmentally friendly means of transportation to achieve sustainable development goals.

Yasmine Fouad, the Egyptian Minister of Environment, expressed her happiness with Abdo’s success in setting the new record.

The minister said that this adventure is the first of its kind to be implemented in the new city of El Alamein, an icon to give a message to the world that Egypt has set its sights on protecting the environment.
