Revealing the secrets of “Facebook” talks to Congress about the dictatorship of Mark Zuckerberg

“Mark Zuckerberg plays a very unique role in the technology industry that no one is currently holding to account,” Frances Hoggin, a former product manager at Facebook who exposed wrongdoing to the press, said on Tuesday.

Washington – Sputnik. “Mark has a very, very unique role in the tech industry, owning more than 55 percent of all voting shares in the company,” Hogan said in her congressional testimony.
Speaking to US senators, she added: “In the end, the responsibility lies with Mark. No one is currently holding Mark responsible but him.”

Over the past several weeks, Hoggin has uncovered thousands of documents indicating that Facebook hid evidence and lied about its platform spreading what it described as “harmful information”.

The documents released by Hogan also reveal that Facebook knew that its social networking platform had harmed the mental health of teens.

During her testimony, Hoggin said the company had done little to prevent content that promoted “hate and division” as well as content that created a toxic environment for teenage girls.

Hogin publicly revealed herself as a Facebook whistleblower on Monday, and shortly after the interview, Facebook and its Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp affiliate platforms suffered outages for more than six hours. The technical team said the outage was due to a protocol update.
