A giant doll representing a Syrian girl called “Little Amal” arrived in the French port of Marseille on Thursday, as part of a journey across Europe that started in Turkey and will end in the United Kingdom in November.
The 3.5-meter-long doll project, designed by the “Handspring Puppet Company”, aims to focus attention on the needs of young refugees from Syria and all countries of the world, according to the French channel “France24”.
The doll will visit 65 European cities, hosted by Italy from September 7 to 9, where many humanitarian activities were organized in those days.
