China showcases “panda robot” at its pavilion at Dubai Expo

UBTECH recently displayed the “Panda Robot” at the World Robot Conference 2021 in Beijing, paving the way for its appearance at the China Pavilion during the Expo 2020 Dubai, which kicks off early next month.

The robot, which is 1.3 meters high and weighs 63 kilograms, was specially made for the China Pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai.

The black and white face combined with the fun and attractive demeanor can attract the attention of robot lovers and buyers all over the world.

The “Panda Robot” contains the latest original technology used in the human Walker service robot. The robot aims to show the world the spirit of UBTECH Robotics.

The robot will debut as an ambassador for peace and friendship and serve as a guide to the China Pavilion. It will be showcased at the Smart Agriculture Pavilion, and sustainable products and solutions. Meanwhile, the exhibition will feature calligraphy, tai chi, and other traditional Chinese arts and practices, as well as China’s achievements in the field of artificial intelligence, demonstrating the fusion of Chinese traditional culture with the new information age.

The robot represents a way to apply artificial intelligence technologies to the company’s robotics, including computer vision for service robots, autonomous navigation and positioning, hand-eye coordination, high-performance services, motion planning and control, and voice technologies.
