International actor Hugh Jackman announced his support for Afghan women against the violence being perpetrated against them.
In his Instagram post, Jackman said he stands with women in Afghanistan who are facing violence.
He attached his post in support of Afghan women with a picture of him wearing a black “T-shirt” with the slogan “I support Afghan women”.
A number of celebrities, such as Angelina Jolie, have declared their absolute support for Afghan women.
Dozens of women demonstrated in Herat province in western Afghanistan, protesting what they said was preventing them from work by the Taliban movement (banned in Russia).
The protesting women demanded that their rights to work and education not be violated.
