For the first time in history… the price of gas in Europe reaches $750 per thousand cubic meters

The price of gas in the European market set a new record, exceeding $750 per thousand cubic meters, according to trading data.
Moscow – Sputnik. The cost of gas futures contracts for the month of October, according to the Dutch “TFF” index, at the beginning of Monday’s trading session amounted to $713.1 per thousand cubic meters, and by 10:30 Moscow time it reached the level of $730, to rise later to $741.2 per thousand cubic meters, and then to $751.2.

The price of gas in Europe set a record in the trading session last Friday, when it reached 710 dollars per thousand cubic meters.

Experts point out that among the factors of rising gas prices in Europe is the low level of reserves of Northeastern European reservoirs, as European storage facilities now contain between 10 to 15 billion cubic meters of gas, which is less than it should be for a comfortable winter season.
