Liverpool regains top spot in the Premier League

Liverpool FC regained the top spot in the English Premier League after winning 3-0 at Leeds United.

Mohamed Salah opened the scoring in the 20th minute of the match, reaching his 100th goal in the league and becoming the fifth player to achieve this achievement in history, and the first half ended with this result.

Liverpool missed more than one opportunity to add the second goal before the break, before Fabinho scored to make Jurgen Kloppโ€™s team on their way to victory.

But Liverpool became concerned after that, after Elliott suffered a seemingly serious foot injury and needed a long time to treat after a violent intervention from Pascal Struck, who received a direct red card.

Elliott walked out on a stretcher and was greeted by Leeds fans.

Liverpool added the third goal in stoppage time through Sadio to lead the standings, accompanied by Chelsea and Manchester United, while Leeds is in 17th place without any victory in four league matches.
