The South Korean company, LG Electronics, was awarded the “Most Trusted” brand of refrigerators by the American magazine “Consumer Reports”.
According to Yonhap, the company ranked first in four major categories of refrigerators from Consumer Reports rankings, namely French door refrigerators, double door refrigerators, bottom freezer refrigerators and regular type refrigerators.
The agency added that LG’s French door refrigerators were rated “Very Satisfied” in customer satisfaction and “Satisfied” in reliability.
In particular, the company’s products dominated all categories of French door refrigerators, where the French door refrigerator is a distinctive and representative product, constituting 59% of the total three targeted for evaluation.
LG’s double door refrigerators also receive a rating of “Moderately Satisfied” in customer satisfaction and reliability.
And top freezer refrigerators were rated “Satisfied” and “Very Satisfied” in reliability and customer satisfaction, respectively.
The company confirmed that the good reviews of its products are due to the Inverter Linear Compressor, a major component of refrigerators that contributes to improving energy efficiency.
