Some rely on refined oil for use in a variety of kitchen purposes, although doctors have warned against the multiple use of refined oil and its danger to public health.
And nutrition expert Natalia Kruglova specified for the medical website “MedicForum” how much refined oil can be eaten without fear for health.
Kruglova stresses that the “safe rate” is a very small amount, about 3-4 teaspoons of refined oil per day, and the amount in case of weight gain is limited to 2-3 tablespoons.
Kruglova warns that there are some cases in which one should not eat food fried in oil or any other product containing fat, such as cases: exacerbation of gastrointestinal diseases, acute stage of gallstone disease, and acute pancreatitis.
Studies have proven that refined oil contains a large amount of trans fats that accumulate in the body, and over time, the increase of these substances leads to the development of various diseases such as cancer, and research also confirmed that the most used oil is refined sunflower oil, containing a large amount of Polyunsaturated fat, which is the least heat-resistant, plus it oxidizes quickly and can release harmful free radicals during cooking, especially if used multiple times.
Experts advised the use of high-quality, cold-pressed olive oil, because it contains a lot of antioxidants, which avoids the accumulation of toxins that stimulate cancer cells in the body.
