$100 million worth of cryptocurrency stolen from a major company

Hackers have managed to steal $100 million worth of cryptocurrency from Japan’s leading cryptocurrency trading company, Liquid.

The company announced that some of its digital wallets had been destroyed.
This incident is the second cryptocurrency theft in recent days. Last week, Poly Network, which is classified as the icon of digital platforms in the field of cryptocurrency, was subjected to the theft of assets estimated at 600 million dollars.
“We regret to announce that the company’s warm wallets have been destroyed, we are now moving our assets into cold wallets,” the company said on Twitter.

And “hot” or “warm” digital wallets are those that are available online and allow users to access their encrypted currencies more easily, while “cold” wallets do not connect to the Internet, and access to them is more difficult, and therefore they are usually more secure, according to what the website reported.
