Japanese martial arts expert Sonny Chiba dies of coronavirus

Sonny Chiba, a martial arts expert and Japanese movie star, died today, Friday, as a result of being infected with the new Corona virus “Covid 19”, according to his business manager.
Today, Friday, Agence France-Presse quoted Timothy Bell, Chiba’s business manager, as saying that Sony died, last Wednesday, after complications from the Corona virus, a martial arts expert whose business manager described him as a great friend and a very humble and friendly person.

Sadaho Maeda, born in 1939, western Japan, was famous for “Sony Chiba”, as he devoted himself in the sixties of the last century to a large number of martial arts, until he became an expert in the art of karate, which was his favorite sport, which nominated him to work in films and series. Japanese, where Sony Chiba participated in about 125 works produced by the famous “Toile” studios.

The attention of the world cinema was directed towards Chiba, where his performance caught the American director Quentin Tarantino, in his youth, as he was assigned to him in his movie “Kill Bill”, the role of samurai Hattori Hanzo.
