The American company, “Apple”, again postponed the date for its employees in America to return to work from offices again, due to the increase in cases of (Covid-19).
And “Apple” changed the date of the return of employees from next October until January 2022, according to the American “Bloomberg” agency.
According to a Bloomberg report, Apple told its employees in a memo that it will confirm the deadline for returning to offices a month before that happens.
It is expected that Apple will give a flexible work option when returning permanently, by coming to the office at least 3 days a week, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Wednesday and Friday.
Apple’s latest decision is the latest bout of disruption in the company’s business, as the previous date to return to work next September was met with resistance from some employees, who claimed that their demands were ignored, as they demanded the option of working remotely full-time.
Thus, “Apple” joins other technology companies that have postponed the return of their employees to work from their offices, such as “Amazon”.
It is noteworthy that the “Apple” company was repeatedly forced to close its sales stores along with the instability of the new “Corona” virus between a decrease and a rise in cases of infection, and only this week it closed its store in Charleston, South Carolina, after more than one person was infected with the virus. Out of 20 employees with (Covid-19).
And, last July, “Apple” restored the policy of wearing a medical mask authorization, whether for employees or visitors to its stores, after it canceled the requirement in June for vaccinated customers.
