Ceiling collapses on woman while washing dishes

The design of houses varies from one country to another and from one region to another according to the cultures prevailing in each region, and some of them have wooden roofs, which can collapse over the heads of their owners if they are exposed to additional loads.

The construction of houses with wooden roofs depends on special designs, but some of them may be based on a primitive design that makes them not prepared to bear any additional loads.

This is shown in a video clip published by the Chinese newspaper, “South China Morning Post”, of a wooden ceiling suddenly falling on the head of a woman while she was washing dishes in a modest kitchen.

The newspaper says that the ceiling collapsed as a result of placing pieces of wood intended for use in heating.

And the newspaper pointed out that the daughter of that woman rushed to her rescue when she saw the moment the ceiling fell, adding: “But fortunately, that woman did not suffer major injuries, and it was limited to some scratches.”
