A school located on a remote British island, north of the UK Sea, has announced the opportunity to hire a new principal, with a salary of 59,000 pounds (77,000 US dollars) a year, to supervise only three students.
According to the British newspaper “Daily Mail”, the school is located on the island of “Fair Isle”, which is inhabited by only 60 people.
Described as a ‘one-in-a-lifetime opportunity’, the winner will run a school of just 3 staff and 3 students, working 35 hours a week for £59,000 a year, plus an annual stipend of £2,265.
The school indicated that the candidates for this job, who will be interviewed for the job, will be covered by the government to pay their travel expenses.
The island, which has an area of about three square miles, is famous for its natural beauty, knitwear and seabirds including about 10,000 puffins according to statistics.
