A large fire in occupied Jerusalem and the evacuation of homes

The Hebrew media reported, this evening, Sunday, that large fires erupted in the forests of the mountains of the occupied city of Jerusalem.

And the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported, this evening, Sunday, that planes and firefighting forces rushed to the site of the fires, which erupted, without knowing the reason until now, at a time when the Israeli police headed to some settlements with the aim of evacuating their settlers, after the fire reached them.

The Hebrew Channel Seven reported that the Israeli police evacuated homes in the settlements of Beit Meir and Kiryat Yearim in the occupied city of Jerusalem, after the fire reached the first rows of the homes of those settlements.

Those Hebrew media confirmed that the fire in the occupied city of Jerusalem is still continuing, and is spreading widely, due to strong winds.

In the same context, the Israeli Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett, left an emergency session of the cabinet to confront the Corona pandemic, in order to follow up on the fire.
