Messi’s first appearance in Paris Saint-Germain training

The Argentine player, former Barcelona star, Lionel Messi, appeared today, Thursday, with his new team, Paris Saint-Germain.

And the French newspaper, L’Equipe, reported that this is Messi’s first appearance with the French club, to which he recently moved.

The newspaper said that Messi’s first training in the Saint-Germain shirt witnessed a focus on running solo and physical recovery exercises after the six-time Ballon d’Or winner met his new colleagues at the training ground.
It is noteworthy that the 34-year-old Messi joined Paris Saint-Germain on a two-year contract with the possibility of a third year extension, as Barcelona confirmed that he would not be able to keep his historical goal due to the financial fair play laws in the Spanish League.

Messi scored with Barcelona 672 goals, a club record, and helped him win the King’s Cup seven times and the Club World Cup three times during a 17-year career.

The French club is scheduled to face its guest Strasbourg, next Saturday, after a 2-1 victory over promoted Troyes in the opening round of the French Ligue 1 season, but Messi is not expected to play his first match before visiting Stade Reims on August 29.
