China inaugurated the Planetarium in Shanghai, which is part of the Shanghai Astronomy Museum, and is the largest planetarium in the world in terms of area.
And the official page of the Chinese Embassy in Saudi Arabia published pictures, which it said were of the Astronomy Museum, which covers an area of more than 58,000 square meters.
The newspaper “The Independent Arabic”, that China opened the doors to what it described as “the largest planetarium in the world”.

The newspaper pointed out that the dome is an elegant facility located in the Shanghai area, and displays exploits outside the globe.
A video clip published by Al-Arabiya Network shows that this planetarium is similar to a time machine, and was built in the Chinese city of Shanghai at a cost of about $80 million.

It covers a total area of more than 38,000 square meters, and contains about 70 meteorites, including from the Moon and Mars, in addition to about 120 archaeological collections that include the works of Isaac Newton, Galileo, Johannes, and other scientists.
