Pilgrims in Saudi Arabia flocked this morning, Tuesday, to the Kaaba, to perform the Tawaf al-Ifadah, amid intensive precautionary measures, on the first day of Eid al-Adha.
The pilgrims also performed the Eid prayer in the Noble Sanctuary, led by Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, and in the presence of his deputy, Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the General President of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Abdul Rahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, and a number of imams. .

For his part, the Saudi monarch, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, said on Twitter: “We thank God Almighty, who has honored us with the service of the Two Holy Mosques, and this is one of the greatest blessings that God has bestowed upon us, sensing the purposes of Sharia in preserving the soul and protecting it from all harm.”
He added: “With the advent of the Blessed Eid Al-Adha, we ask God to remove all harm from us and the world, and we hope for good in the coming days, and happy new year.”
