Japan recorded about 10,000 cyber crimes last year

The annual report of the Japanese police “White Paper”, published today, Tuesday, monitored the commission of nearly 10,000 cyber crimes in 2020; This is a new record in the country.

“National companies have been subjected to cyber attacks by the APT40 hacker group, which is likely behind the Chinese government,” said Japanese government secretary-general, Katsunobu Kato.

China has consistently denied allegations of cyber-attacks, and calls on the international community to cooperate to counter US actions that threaten global cyber security and violate international rules.
