A Lebanese jewelry designer memorializes her father, the victim of Corona, with an icon of her design

Lebanese jewelry designer Stephanie Eid immortalized her father, who was kidnapped by Corona at the beginning of this year, by launching a new piece of jewelry under the name “KAYAN” in her collection.

The icon bears “the signature of the late father, Elias Eid, from behind, the day his journey began, and the date of the day Corona kidnapped him.”

“I chose sapphire and diamond to denote the wave of the sea and the eternal circle shows the endless cycle of life until one’s journey reaches its final wave,” Eid said.

She added, “My dear father in the middle symbolizes a force stronger than the mightiest of waves, with each wave he was standing taller and stronger and this is what stuck me in him the most.”

She concluded, “I want the piece to be close to my heart where my dad resides forever so I made sure the series did just that. I want my dad to live forever in every creativity I create from now on.”
