The Queen of Britain sends a written message to the England national team before the Euro 2020 final

Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II sent a message to the England football team, wishing the team good luck, ahead of the country’s most important game since the World Cup final in 1966.

The England national team is scheduled to face Italy on Sunday in the final of the European Nations Cup “Euro 2020” at Wembley Stadium, according to the agency “Reuters”.
And just 24 hours before the match began, the Queen of Britain wrote a letter to England coach Gareth Southgate, recalling her memories of attending the World Cup final in which England participated in 1966, and seeing the joy that victory brought to the country.

“I want to send my best wishes for tomorrow’s match in the hope that history will record not only your success, but also the spirit, commitment and pride with which you have been treated,” the Queen wrote.

While England have reached the final of the tournament only once, and this will be the 10th time that Italy have reached the final, England have a strong crowd of 60,000 people who are a strong support for the country.
