Britney Spears plans to retire after her manager resigns

American singer Britney Spears is reportedly planning to retire after her longtime manager decided to end his relationship with her, which indicated her intention to stop singing professionally.

The report said Spears’ manager, Larry Rudolph, wrote in a letter to her father, Jamie Spears, and court-appointed care manager, Jodi Montgomery, that his “services were no longer necessary” because Spears was “formally expressing her intention to retire,” according to the magazine. American Variety.
In the letter, Rudolph, who has worked with Britney Spears for more than 25 years, asserted that he was never part of the guardianship or any of its decisions.

Britney Spears, 39, has been under guardianship since she suffered a mental health breakdown in 2008, and her father, Jamie Spears, is now managing all decisions about her financial affairs and taking care of herself, but last year, Britney began legal proceedings to keep him away from managing her personal affairs. .

In June, Britney Spears told a Los Angeles judge she wanted to end her 13-year guardianship, calling it “abusive”, saying she was shocked and angry and wanted her life back.

But in July, a judge rejected Spears’ request to remove her father from his role in overseeing guardianship, a week after the pop star gave a sensational testimony calling for an end to the guardianship.

Spears said in a court hearing in mid-June that she was “slave at work” and alleged that she was forced to use contraceptives.

It is noteworthy that this is not the first time that Britney Spears has considered retiring, as she first hinted at the move in 2013 and again in 2018.
