The Spanish Football Federation announced that the country’s captain, Sergio Busquets, had contracted the Corona virus, days before the start of the European Championship “Euro 2020”.
And the Spanish Federation published, through its account on the “Twitter” website, a statement saying: “Unfortunately, the Federation announces the results of the test of captain Sergio Busquets, which were positive for his infection with the emerging corona virus that causes Covid 19 disease.”

He continued by saying that the player’s injury appeared in the test results that are conducted at the Spanish national team’s training center in Las Rozas, and precautionary measures will be applied to the player.
Spain is scheduled to start its Euro 2020 campaign against Sweden on June 14, then meet Poland on June 19 and play Slovakia on June 23, and all matches will be held in Seville, Spain.
