The Brazilian young man, a doctor named Victor Sorrentino, appeared with the girl and in the presence of an interpreter, as he apologized to her for what he had done in the verbal harassment incident that he had published earlier on the communication sites and led to his arrest later by the Egyptian authorities.

According to the video, the Brazilian offered his apology, saying: “The mistake I made was that I recorded the video without obtaining permission from the girl Reem, and I spoke in offensive words, and he explained that I have all respect for the Egyptian people in general and especially for Egyptian women, and I did not mean to offend, for this I ask A sincere apology from Mrs. Reem.

The Brazilian doctor’s wife had previously published an apology in Arabic and English through her personal account on the “Instagram” website, in which she said, “Our sincere apologies to the victim, her family, and anyone else who may have been offended.
