The specialist, Svetlana Voss, described that the desire to lose weight through a low-fat diet program may cause bronchitis and even infertility.

She added, “The lack of fat affects not only the health condition, but also the appearance. The skin becomes dry and wrinkled, the body’s immunity decreases, the body’s organs age more quickly, in addition to heart and brain problems, and memory work will deteriorate.”
Fats are the best source of energy and help deliver vitamins like A, E, K and D which are responsible for immunity, good eyesight, strong blood vessels and beautiful skin.
Fat is also involved in the production of hormones, including sex hormones, estrogen and testosterone, and the expert added that a lack of fat in the diet may lead to infertility.
She added, “There are many cases in which a pregnant woman is not able to exclude fat. Without the normal amount of hormones, fertility is impossible, and the same is true for men.”
