A nutrition expert revealed a group of foods that increase the ability of students to focus during the exam period.
Nutritionist Abeer Abu Rjaili said that the process of nutrition plays an important role in influencing brain health, the ability to focus and IQ, according to Al-Nahar newspaper.
She explained that avocados are at the forefront of these foods, because they help improve brain functions, because they contain essential vitamins useful for memory and recall.
Broccoli was among the foods that the expert advised students to eat because of its positive effect on the brain, as it is rich in high levels of choline, which is important for strengthening memory.
The nutritionist also advised eating cranberries, which are rich in “flavonoids” that help improve memory, intellectual performance and brain functions.
Another food that Abu Rjaili advised to eat during exams was eggs, because they are rich in vitamin D, which helps improve intellectual and cognitive energies.
Abu Rjaili pointed out the importance of walnuts, also in brain health and enhancing the ability to focus, because it is one of the nuts rich in omega-3 fatty acids that are beneficial for brain health.
