Jennifer Aniston ‘helps ex-husband Brad Pitt adopt a dog’

The recent Friends reunion seems to have had a positive effect on actress Jennifer Anniston, who has reportedly reached out to her famous ex-husband to help him pick out a pooch.

Jen, 52, is said to believe Brad would really benefit from adopting a puppy or two, especially as he’s seen how much joy Jen’s dogs give her.

An insider revealed that Jen is said to talk about her precious pups Clyde, Lord Chesterfield and Sophie as if they’re her children, Heat reports.

Children could be a sore subject for Brad, 57, at the moment, who was recently awarded joint custody of his kids with Angelina Jolie.

However the Maleficent actress is said to be continuing her legal battle, telling a source that the judge’s decision is “tentative”.

“Brad’s really been through it recently,” an insider close to the actor revealed.

“He’s not seen his kids as often as he would have liked and the court case is really weighing him down emotionally.

“Jen is one of the few friends he’s stayed in touch with and she’s been constantly checking in on him and encouraging him to do things to cheer himself up.”

After they split in 2005, Brad married Angelina, who he later divorced. Jen married Justin Theroux in 2015 but they split up just two years later.

Since then she has been seen with Brad on several occasions, and their fans are keen for them to reunite.

However the actor was recently seen swapping numbers with actress Andra Day while Jen was reportedly dating a “handsome” mystery man earlier this year, posting a picture of his legs in the back of one of her Instagram posts.

The source at the time said: “While Jen admitted that lines may have been blurred in the past with Brad, she’s put strict boundaries in place so her new partner never feels threatened.”
