Italy recorded 121 deaths from the Corona virus, today, Wednesday, and 3,937 new cases.
The Ministry of Health said that Italy recorded 121 deaths related to the Coronavirus on Wednesday, compared to 166 the previous day, while the daily number of new infections increased to 3,937 from 3,244.
Italy recorded 125,622 corona-related deaths in February of last year, the second highest in Europe after Britain and the seventh highest in the world. The country has reported 4.2 million cases so far.
The number of hospitalized patients with corona, excluding those in intensive care, reached 8,118 on Wednesday, down from 8,557 the previous day.
There were 39 new admissions to intensive care units, down from 46 on Tuesday, as the total number of intensive care patients decreased to 1,278 from 1,323 previously.
The Ministry of Health said that about 260,962 tests were conducted for Corona in the past day.
