Katy Perry sent temperatures soaring as she worked a skintight leather red dress for Instagram followers on Sunday.
The I Kissed A Girl songstress, 36, shared snaps of herself posing in between American Idol takes, where she looked ravishing in the crimson frock with thigh-high PVC boots.
The plunging number clung to Katy’s wait and flashed a hint of leg as she posed for the camera with her hands upon her svelte torso.
The Roar singer looked fierce with her blonde hair styled into a sleek ‘do that framed her exquisitely done makeup.
Long full lashes brought out her blue eyes while a tint of lipstick added to the red hot vibe.
In the final pose of the slideshow, she squatted towards the floor with one hand resting upon her knee.
‘ARE YOU WATCHING THIS RED HOT DRAMA?! DONT FORGET TO VOTE… 4 BECOME 3 TONIGHT #AMERICANIDOL,’ Katy captioned the snap, along with a couple of flame emojis.
The stakes were high on Sunday’s episode of American Idol, but Katy still managed to inject a bit of humor as she judged the crop of contestants.
The singer joked that one contestant’s performance was so good it might have undone her cosmetic surgery.
She’d just watched 21-year-old caretaker Willie Spence sing an original song called Never Be Alone, then do a soaring version of Beyoncé’s I Was Here to great applause.
‘Every time, I get chills,’ marveled Katy, 36. ‘Tonight, I got chills on places on my face that I thought I had frozen. Okay? You brought the chills back. It was a Lazarus moment on my face.’
‘You have that connection to the next realm,’ she told the Douglas, Georgia, resident. ‘And it’s been so beautiful to see you come in—kind of shy, with this big voice, not so sure—and you are stepping into your power and you are walking in the light.’
Sunday’s show found the Top Four singers debuting their first singles, performing a song made famous by a personal idol, and revisiting a past performance.
