The agency reveals the effect of the AstraZeneca vaccine on women

Britain’s Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency revealed, today, Thursday, some evidence indicating that there are more side effects of the “AstraZeneca” vaccine on women than men.

According to “Reuters” agency, evidence indicates that uncommon strokes associated with receiving the “AstraZeneca” vaccine against the Corona virus occur in women more than men.

The Medicines Regulatory Agency stated in its weekly report on the issue of thrombosis: “There is now some evidence that the rate of this occurrence is higher in females compared to males, although this is not noticeable in all age groups and the difference remains limited.”

The agency noted that “the recommendation remains that the benefits from the vaccine outweigh the risks among the vast majority of people.”

Earlier, British officials announced the possibility of age-related strokes, while the existence of a relationship with sex was not proven, indicating that women received the vaccine more than men.
