The US authorities recently revealed the details of the crime of kidnapping a girl four years ago in Florida, with an incident that took place in 2017, the details of which remained vague until it was discovered recently.
In 2017, Savannah, 21, disappeared after leaving her home in Jacksonville, Florida, to go to work in a seafood store, according to the British newspaper “dailystar”.
The people of Savannah learned of her disappearance when her colleagues called to inform them that their daughter had not yet arrived at her work, and hours later her brother received a text message that also aroused their panic, making them sure that their daughter had been kidnapped.
While investigating the case, investigators saw a video of a surveillance camera in front of the restaurant, in which Savannah was seen approaching a car near the restaurant driven by a man, then they got up together in a Savannah car.
Upon research, this man was Savannah’s friend at work, and after much investigation he admitted that he had met Savannah before work and as a result of a quarrel between them, he killed her.
Then, Savannah’s friend, Raudarty, took the police to a nearby lake where he threw Savannah, and divers then recovered her body.
After examining the corpse, it was found that the girl suffered severe burns on her body, as the young man burned her body after killing her, and the police found knives and petrol in his house.
After the details of the case were revealed, Rodarte admitted that he had sent the text messages from Savannah’s phone to dismiss suspicions, and then Rodarte was officially sentenced in March of this year, to forty years in prison.
