Nurmagomedov’s achievement surpassed … a former UFC champion beats his opponent, breaking his leg

Former UFC mixed martial arts champion Chris Weidman was seriously injured in a fight against Jamaican actor Uraya Hall.

The UFC 261 Championship bout was held on Monday night, April 25th, in Jacksonville, Florida, USA. The American hit his opponent in the 17th of a fight, using the low-kick technique (a kick in which the attacker uses his leg to hit the lower part of the opponent’s body), but the Jamaican player blocked his attack, causing Widman to fracture his leg. The fight ended with the defeat of the American, who received a knockout blow from his opponent.

Osman won for the 14th time in a row in the Ultimate Fighting Championship and surpassed the feat of Russian legend Habib Nurmagomedov, who won 13 and scored a zero loss. The record for unbeatable wins goes back to Brazil’s Anderson Silva, who won 16 consecutive fights.

Among the major events in the UFC 261 tournament, American fighter Camaro Osman defeated his opponent, Jorge Masvidal. The winning fighter defended the Welterweight title (heavier than lighter, but lighter than middleweight).
