The company “Amazon” adopted the payment system “by scanning the palm” as its payment system in its various stores, and began the process of testing it effectively.
And Amazon announced that it will present its payment system to the “Whole Food” store in Seattle, USA, to be the first option among several other proposals that the payment system may be put forward, according to what was reported by the economic network “CNBC”.
Speaking of this system, it first appeared last September, and today it has expanded to ten Amazon stores, and this system allows shoppers to pay by placing their palm on a scanner.

The first time shoppers use the store, they must enter a credit card to be associated with a handprint, so shoppers can easily pay.
In addition to this technology, the company uses another technology that depends only on photographing shoppers for their purchases and leaving the store, and then the technicians do the work, and Amazon uses this method in its various stores.
And Amazon explained that the launch of the hand-scanning payment system will be one of the payment options available within the store, and will not cancel the work of its employees.
And Amazon confirmed that it designed the system to be a safe system, especially considering that the technology of scanning the palm of the hand is safer and more private than other methods such as facial recognition.
She added that she would like to sell this system to other companies, retailers and stadiums, and that she is currently in discussions about that with a number of clients who are dealing with them.
