The Dutch police announced today, Tuesday, the arrest of a suspect in the theft of two paintings of Vincent Van Gogh and France Hals in the Netherlands.

In August, a painting by France Hals entitled “Two Young People Laughing” (1626-1627) was stolen from a museum in Leardam.
At the time, Reuters reported that the painting was borrowed from the Groniger Museum, noting that its value is estimated at between one million euros and six million, according to local sources, as its material value has not yet been officially announced.
