The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities launched a promotional film, with the participation of a number of artists, in preparation for the transfer of the “Procession of Royal Mummies” from the Egyptian Museum to the Museum of Civilization in Fustat.
The promotional film, which some described as talking about the most important event in 2021, organized and directed by MediaHub Saadi – Jawhar, includes exclusive content on the history of 22 royal mummies, which will be transported in a mythical, majestic procession that will roam the streets of Cairo from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square to a place Its permanent display at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat on Saturday, April 3rd.
The promotional film featured artist Hussein Fahmy, artist Aser Yassin, and actress Amina Khalil.
The film provides exclusive footage that sheds light on the history of both the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square and the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, and their most important unique archaeological holdings.
It is expected that the Civilization Museum will receive in the next few days, the royal mummies from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, which number 22 royal mummies, dating back to the ages of the 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th families, including 18 mummies of kings and 4 mummies of queens, including the mummy of King Ramses II. King Seknen Ra, King Tuthmosis the Third, King Seti the First, Queen Hatshepsut, Queen Mert Amun, wife of King Amenhotep the First, and Queen Ahmose-Nefertari.
