A prescription for treating laziness

Dr. Yevgeny Fomin, a psychiatrist, declared that a state of laziness can be linked not only to normal physical fatigue, but also to mental problems.
The doctor indicates in an interview with “Sputnik” Radio that the state of deep distortions in the perception of reality, can cause laziness. According to him, the state of laziness is, above all, a person’s lack of confidence in his ability to carry out the required task. Lack of self-confidence, deprives him of the strength and ability to do any work.
He says, “This is a kind of underestimating the level of personal preparation and qualification, which does not give a person the confidence and strength to carry out the required tasks.”
And he adds, there are many ways to get rid of laziness. The first and the simplest is going somewhere and giving yourself a chance to rest. The second is to consult a psychiatrist who prescribes the necessary medications for treatment.
And the third is to see a psychotherapist, specialist trainer, or psychiatrist, to understand the condition. These benefit people who are evaluating their potential under the influence of mental distortions.
He says, “This becomes necessary if the person begins to evaluate situations incorrectly, due to some deep situations, because he believes that he is unable to deal with the situation, and catastrophic thoughts appear in him.”
