Despite entering a coma due to infection with the emerging coronavirus, Mrs. Carrie Ann Osborne gave birth to a healthy baby girl.
According to “The Sun” newspaper, Carrie Ann, 32, went into a coma when her lungs began to fail in hospital.
The last thing the lady in Hartlepool remembered was a voice telling her, “We have to give birth to your baby.”
After about 5 weeks, she passed the coma, to be informed that she had overcome the Corona virus and that she had become the mother of a healthy baby girl named “Storm”.
About this, the mother says: “When I carried her for the first time, it was magic. I will never forget this.”
Carrie-Ann was in her 32nd week of pregnancy when she contracted the virus, a few days before the Christmas celebrations.
Corona tests confirmed that she was infected with the virus, and in a short time her condition became serious.
About this period, she says: “I found it difficult to breathe. It was as if the hippo was sitting on my chest.”
