French harpsichord player Francois Grunier put an end to his life by committing suicide because of the despair and despair that he had experienced since the beginning of the quarantine and the suspension of artistic concerts and the exposure of artists to difficult material and psychological conditions.
The newspaper “Le Figaro” quoted the newspaper “Nour Litoral” that the 39-year-old musician, who was residing in the city of Lille, led the “Hemiolia” band that plays ancient music together with French cellist Claire Lamquette, and was the director of several choirs that play in the city.

Lamquette said in a message of condolences to her music partner that “with the health crisis, especially during the second stone, I felt a clear change in Francois’s behavior .. He had much less energy than usual, and he was very sad about canceling concerts, especially an artistic tour that was expected in Bolivia has been postponed due to the crisis. ”
“Francois was a jovial colleague, despite her apparent shyness … He was a very sensitive person … Today I find it difficult to imagine returning the favor to the artistic projects that we designed together,” she added.
The suicide musician was buried yesterday, on the 17th of this month, in his hometown of Aven-sur-Elbe, northern France.
