French Prime Minister Jean Castex announced today, Thursday, the imposition of a quarantine in 16 regions of the country, including the capital, Paris, as of Friday, for a month.
The quarantine measures will include the Ile-de-France, the Alps-Maritimes, Paris and its suburbs, as well as the north of the country.
During the quarantine, he will be allowed to go out for a limited time for hiking in Qatar, which does not exceed 10 km, with the use of an exit permit document.
Castex explained that France is going through a third wave of Corona, and that 75 percent of the injuries are caused by the British strain.
For his part, Minister of Health Olivier Ferrand confirmed that his country will authorize new drugs for cases that do not improve according to the applicable protocols, adding that these drugs have been confirmed for their safety and effectiveness through American and European studies.
