A spokesman for the Iranian Emergency Organization said that 6 people were killed and 369 injured across the country as a result of fireworks during celebrations on the last Wednesday of the Persian year.
For his part, the Tehran police chief said that the situation in the Iranian capital is not good, and 25 explosions were recorded, which resulted in destruction as a result of fireworks.
Iranians celebrate these days, Nowruz, after the solar New Year that coincides with the astronomers of the annual spring solstice, which will fall at dawn on March 21st.
Celebrations of this holiday go back more than 2000 years and it still occupies a great place among Iranians even after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, as it was registered in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2009.
