Today, Tuesday, the Chinese health authorities approved the use of a new, home-made vaccine against the emerging corona virus, according to “The Associated Press”.
The agency indicated that the new vaccine, designed by the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention with the participation of Anhui Zhifei Longcom Biopharmaceutical Corporation and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, is the fifth approved vaccine in the country and the fourth one to obtain permission for emergency use.
The representative of the producing company said that the vaccine, which passes the third final stage of its tests in Uzbekistan, Pakistan and Indonesia, consists of three doses that are received with an interval of one month.
On December 31, China agreed to put its first vaccine against “Covid-19” on the market, the “Sinopharm” vaccine.
And in early February, the Chinese authorities approved the use of the second vaccine manufactured by Beijing Kexing Zhongwei Biotechnology Sinovac.
On February 25, China approved the use of two new homemade vaccines in the face of the Corona pandemic.
