Germany will suspend the use of the “AstraZeneca” vaccine against the Coronavirus

Germany joined the group of European countries that decided to suspend the use of the “AstraZeneca” vaccine against the emerging corona virus, due to reports of its causing serious complications.

A spokesman for the German Ministry of Health announced that vaccination will be stopped with the British-Swedish company “AstraZeneca” vaccine against the Corona virus, as a precaution that comes after reports of the appearance of clots in the blood of a number of those who underwent vaccination.

The ministry said that the new instructions implement the recommendation of the “Paul Ehrlich” institute, which is responsible for vaccinations in the country.

A number of European countries suspended the precautionary use of the “AstraZeneca” vaccine, against the backdrop of reports of strokes that caused the deaths of a number of those who were vaccinated with it.

The World Health Organization recently expressed its support for the vaccine, describing it as “wonderful.”
