The director of the Russian space film “Challenge”, Klim Shepenko, said that next April, the main and reserve crews of the “Soyuz” manned vehicle, which will carry a Russian artist to the international station, will be approved.
This came in an interview he gave to the Russian newspaper “Komsomolskaya Pravda”.

Klim Chespenko stated that he had begun receiving the training course in the Russian “City of Stars” to achieve a space trip with the same vehicle to the International Space Station, where the movie will be shot.
A spokesperson for the Russian TV Channel One said that 20 actresses have been nominated to play the main role in “Challenge” and to make a space trip to the International Space Station, where they will participate in the filming next October. The spokesman recalled that the dramatic film “Challenge” is a joint project of TV Channel One and the Russian Yellow Black and White Film Workshop.
It is noteworthy that the Director General of the Russian Cosmos Space Corporation, Dmitry Rogozin, announced last November that “Ros Cosmos” will present in October 2021 the Russian sector in the space station to shoot a new movie about space.
As for the director general of the Russian “Cosmos Cover” company, he said that filming “The Challenge” would not require investing large funds from the state budget.
It is worth noting that the director, Klim Shibenko, is known for directing the Russian film “Salyut-7” about the participation of the Soviet astronauts in rescuing the first Soviet space station.
