Italy announced that it aims to vaccinate at least 80% of its population against “Covid-19” by next September, by intensifying the daily vaccination campaign.
The new special commissioner of the Corona virus, Francisco Paolo Vigliolo, announced a “general plan to vaccinate 500,000 people per day.”
Italy recorded 101,881 deaths due to the virus, the second highest toll in Europe after Britain and the seventh highest in the world.
The total number of injuries in Italy has so far reached three million and 200 thousand.
