The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that the implementation of the “Martyr Soleimani Project” reduced the level of deaths due to the Corona virus in Iran by 90%.
The Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Brigadier General Ali Fadawi, said in a statement to Fars that the “Martyr Soleimani” project, which is being implemented with the support of the Basij Mobilization Organization and the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, to control the spread of the Corona virus across the country has played a role. Too big to contain disease.
Fadawi added that “countries that have great potential in the field of health and medical equipment and claim to be very advanced in this field have not been able to control the disease and have witnessed catastrophic situations.”
He noted the impact of the “Martyr Soleimani” project in reducing Coronavirus infections in the country, and said that during the last two months the deaths in the country had decreased to under 100 and even about 50 daily deaths, while the number was at its peak about 500 cases.
He explained that the implementation of the project is being pursued strongly by the Mobilization Organization, noting that citizens have to seriously adhere to health recommendations because if conditions are considered normal, this virus, which has the British name malignant, will spread.
Late last year, the Iranian authorities launched a supplementary plan to combat the Coronavirus in the name of the “Martyr Soleimani Project” in honor of the late commander of the “Quds Force” of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Qassem Soleimani, who was killed in an American raid at Baghdad airport on January 3, 2020.
