An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale occurred in central Greece, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Authority said Thursday.
The agency stated that the epicenter was 29 kilometers northwest of the city of Larissa, which has a population of 144,000.
She indicated that the earthquake had a magnitude of 6, indicating that it occurred at a depth of two kilometers.
The authority indicated that this earthquake represents the 41st earthquake that occurred in Greece during the last 33 hours.
