The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel is upholding its commitment to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, and that its position on the nuclear deal has not changed.
Netanyahu’s office added on Twitter that Israel “believes that returning to the previous agreement (the nuclear agreement) will only pave the way for Iran to acquire a nuclear arsenal,” indicating that Israel is conducting an ongoing dialogue with the United States in this regard.
