A wanted man had voluntarily surrendered to British police in West Sussex County, southeast England, in the hope of “getting some peace and quiet,” according to police sources.
And those sources explained that “this man did what he did after he got tired of staying in hiding with his domestic companions and at the same time he could not go to public places such as restaurants or bars due to the closure policy imposed by the state to combat the outbreak of the second wave of the Corona virus pandemic.”
Inspector Darren Taylor, from Sussex Police, tweeted: “For peace and quiet! A wanted man turned himself in .. after he informed us that he would rather go back to prison than spend more time with his wife and family.
He continued, “He (the wanted) will return to prison to spend some time with himself.”
