The world celebrates on February 14 of each year Valentine’s Day, or the so-called “Valentine”, in reference to Saint Valentine, who triumphed for love and became its icon in the world and devoted the day of his departure to Valentine’s Day.
Although the pharaohs were the first to celebrate love and it appeared through their pictures, engravings and statues immortalized in the days, and the most famous love stories were the story of “Isis” and “Osiris”, where “Isis” loved her husband with great love and was devoted to him after he was killed by his brother “Set” And the story of “Ramses and Nefertari”, which was inscribed on the pictures of the walls of Nefertari’s temple in Abu Simbel.
This anniversary has been celebrated since the Middle Ages, and gifts are chosen for the lovers or life partner, and red roses are preferred because it expresses love, and chocolate because it symbolizes happiness, and the most important basis for choosing a gift is that it suits the other party to whom it will be presented.
Some countries celebrate “Valentine” in a way that distinguishes it from others in a curious and perhaps even tragic scene, the most prominent of which are:
