Erdogan’s spokesman, addressing the West: Our citizens who killed northern Iraq are the children of the ally

The head of the Turkish Presidency’s Communication Department, Fakhruddin Altun, affirmed that his country will firmly continue to fight all terrorist organizations until their threats are completely eliminated.

Altun wrote on Twitter today, Sunday, that the 13 citizens who were killed in northern Iraq at the hands of the PKK Organization, listed in the terrorist organizations lists of Turkey, the United States and the European Union, are “sons of Turkey, an ally in NATO that has contributed to the global fight against terrorism.” .

He added, “Turkey will firmly continue to combat all terrorist organizations until the threats are completely eliminated. We will take the necessary steps against individuals and groups who praise and encourage terrorism in our country and abroad.”

And he considered that “there are difficult questions that must be answered today, especially by the HDP,” which he described as “the political arm of the PKK terrorist organization in Turkey.”

He also accused the West of hypocrisy, noting that its silence towards the actions of the PKK “shows that there is a big difference between talking about democracy, rights and the law and supporting these principles.”

It is noteworthy that the Turkish forces found, earlier, Sunday, the bodies of 13 of their citizens when they raided one of the caves of the PKK in the Gara region in northern Iraq, as part of the “Eagle Claw-2” operation, which the Turkish Defense Minister announced today that it has ended by neutralizing 50 militants.
